The British amphibious vessel HMS Albion (L14)

The British amphibious vessel HMS Albion (L14) visited Malta last week where it was berth at Boiler Wharf, Senglea.

The visit coincided with the Remembrance Service that took place on Friday, at the Saluting Battery in Valletta. Officers and crew members of the Royal Navy ship attended the ceremony.

During the ceremony a replica monument in memory of Colonel Henry Anderson Morshead (served as Malta’s acting lieutenant governor for 18 days) was unveiled.

O.F Gollcher & Sons acted as the local representative for HMS Albion during its stay.
